Where we need you

3 open · 3 hiring now

What you'll own

  • Curator vetting and onboarding: review applications from playlist curators, bloggers, and influencers, confirm genuine playlist ownership, check the stream-to-follower ratio from Spotify for Artists data, and use checker tools to spot botted playlists. Approve, reject, or request more information within 24 hours
  • Campaign assignment: match each paid campaign to the right curators, playlists, and bloggers by genre, track who is accepting work, and make sure placements are reflected on the artist's dashboard
  • Campaign fulfillment: monitor every campaign from payment to delivery, verify playlist placements, review social content and blog articles against quality standards, and step in fairly when a musician disputes a creator's video
  • Payouts: process creator payout requests carefully, confirm the work, confirm the amount is within the creator's balance, verify the destination account name and number, and pay out through Paystack or Flutterwave. Accuracy here is non-negotiable
  • Quality and trust: run regular spot-checks to confirm placements stay live, catch fake proofs, early removals, and fake engagement, and enforce the standards that protect artists' money and the platform's reputation
  • Dispute resolution: handle complaints from artists and creators quickly and fairly using clear playbooks, and escalate the small number of edge cases to the CEO
  • Reporting: keep clean records of disputes and decisions, track curator ratings and standing, and send a weekly summary to the CEO with the key numbers, issues, and recommendations

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years in operations, customer success, community management, or a similar hands-on role
  • Trustworthy with money and obsessed with detail, you will verify and release real payouts, account numbers, amounts, and balances have to be right every single time
  • Comfortable with numbers and data, you can read platform stats like Spotify for Artists, work out a simple ratio like streams against followers, and use checker tools to spot a botted playlist
  • A nose for fraud, you notice when things do not add up: dead followers, fake proof links, the same face across different creators
  • A genuine feel for music and genre, you can tell Afrobeats from Amapiano, because you will be matching songs to the right playlists and curators
  • Strong written communication, you can write a clear, professional, friendly email, including the hard ones that decline an application or deliver bad news
  • Fair and firm judgement inside clear guidelines, including overruling an unfair rejection when the work actually meets the standard
  • Organised and reliable, you can run a consistent daily routine without being chased
  • Comfortable with web dashboards, spreadsheets, and learning new tools quickly

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships with curators, bloggers, or creators in the Afrobeats scene
  • Experience moderating a marketplace, platform, or online community
  • Hands-on experience with payment tools like Paystack or Flutterwave
  • Familiarity with playlist-analytics tools (Chartmetric, Artist.tools, SubmitHub)

What you'll own

  • Campaign execution: monitor paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google that the Head of Growth designs, check budget pacing daily, rotate creative when it fatigues, and flag anything that looks off
  • The numbers: keep our growth dashboard current, CAC, activation rate, campaign completion rate, and signup volume for both artists and curators. If a number moves, you should know why
  • Copy testing: write and test variants of ad copy, landing page sections, and referral messaging under the Head of Growth's direction
  • Acquisition support: help with artist and curator outreach, university tours, and onboarding pushes that build supply-side liquidity
  • Cross-team coordination: work with the Content & Community Manager so paid campaigns and organic content reinforce each other instead of running in separate lanes
  • Reporting: keep a clean weekly numbers update ready for the Head of Growth and the CEO

What we're looking for

  • A demonstrated interest in growth or digital marketing, internships, coursework, or personal projects count, we are not requiring years of agency experience
  • Comfortable with numbers, you can work in a spreadsheet, read a basic analytics dashboard (Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or similar), and are not intimidated by a metric you have not seen before
  • A clear writer, you can write ad copy, landing page lines, and short messaging that reads like a real person, not a template
  • Culturally plugged in, you understand Nigerian youth culture, music trends, and how people actually use Instagram, TikTok, and X
  • Organised and coachable, you can follow a testing and reporting cadence without being chased, and you are genuinely open to direction while you learn the craft

Nice to have

  • Ran or assisted on a paid ad campaign before, even with a small personal budget
  • Existing familiarity with the Nigerian music or creator economy
  • Basic design skills in Canva for quick ad creative

What you'll own

  • Social content: plan and post consistently across our main channels, with Instagram, TikTok, and X as the priority. Turn artist wins, campaign results, and platform updates into content people actually want to watch and share, using tools like Canva and CapCut
  • Community: keep our artist and curator communities on WhatsApp and Telegram alive every day, welcome new members, answer questions, spark conversation, and make every artist feel seen. A warm community is what makes artists stay
  • Storytelling: find the real wins happening on the platform, get permission, and turn them into proof that promotion on NewBanger works, this is our best content, so you will hunt for it constantly
  • Engagement: reply to every comment, DM, and mention quickly and warmly. Speed matters more than polish, an artist who feels ignored leaves
  • Support triage: when someone raises a money issue, a refund, or a stuck campaign in your DMs, hand it to the operations team straight away. Everything else, answer with care
  • Light reporting: keep a simple weekly note for the CEO on what you posted, what landed, how the community is doing, and where signups and curators are coming from

What we're looking for

  • You live in the Nigerian music scene, you know the artists, the sounds, the slang, and the difference between Afrobeats and Amapiano without thinking about it
  • You are a natural writer, you can write in a voice that sounds human and real, never corporate and never like fake hype
  • You are already active on social, even if it is a personal or fan account, you have posted consistently and understand how Instagram and TikTok actually work
  • You are warm and quick with people, you enjoy talking to people all day and reply fast
  • You are organised and self-driven, you can keep a daily routine and a posting schedule without being chased
  • You can put content together with tools like Canva and CapCut, or you are eager to learn them fast

Nice to have

  • An existing audience or community you have grown, even a small one
  • Video shooting and editing skills
  • Experience running a brand or artist page
  • Existing relationships with artists, curators, or bloggers in the scene
