Young Thug released “Tick Tock” as the first single for his sophomore studio album P*NK.
A snippet of “Tick Tock” was first showcased on July 24th, 2021 during Young Thug’s set at Rolling Loud. Thugger then performed the song again two days later during his Tiny Desk concert. The song was eventually premiered in full on Gray Rizzy’s SiriusXM show on August 19, with its official release as a single coming the next day, August 20.
On August 19, a livestream went up on Young Thug’s YouTube channel of Andre Trenier painting an edit of Thug’s Lollapalooza promotional artwork, which was announced to be the single’s artwork.
The music video for the tune premiered on YouTube on 20th August 2021 and has over 1 million views.
